1. Introduction

Karin Shumway For SRVUSD School Board Area 2 ("we", "us", or "our") provides fundraising services for Karin's campaign through our Squarespace-hosted platform, with Stripe as our payment processor to accept donations (collectively, the “Services”).

2. Eligibility

To use the Services, you must be at least 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that:

• You are of legal age to form a binding contract.

• You will comply with these Terms and all applicable local, state, and national rules and regulations.

• You are not a competitor of our campaign and do not intend to use the Services for competitive purposes.

3. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

4. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

• Personal Information: Name, email, employer, occupation, address.

• Payment Information: Collected through Stripe/Squarespace, including billing details and card information.

5. Fees and Payments

There are no fees to register or use the Services, aside from the donation amount you choose to offer. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

6. Account Creation

While creating an account is optional, doing so allows for easier access to donation history and other features. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

7. Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate or infringe others' rights, including privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights.

• Post anything unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, fraudulent, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation with a person or entity.

• Use the Services for any commercial purposes without our written consent.

8. Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration will take place in California, and the language of arbitration will be English.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
